- Francisco P. de la Flor García is Chief Executive Officer of BarMar SAS, the company responsible for developing the offshore renewable hydrogen interconnector between Barcelona and Marseille, a key component of the H2med corridor. He has more than 35 years of experience in the energy and gas sectors, having held senior responsibilities in commercial development, engineering and procurement, strategy, regulation and stakeholder relations across Europe, Africa and Ibero-America. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and Council of the International Gas Union. He is a former Chair of the UNECE Group of Experts on Gas, former President of Gas LNG Europe, and has served on the boards of several leading European and national energy associations, including GIE, ENTSOG, NGVA Europe, Marcogaz and Sedigás. Alongside his executive responsibilities, he lectures in postgraduate programmes and regularly participates as a speaker, adviser and moderator at international energy conferences. He has an academic background in Chemical Engineering, Economics and Business Administration, complemented by an executive business programme.
